Do You Deliver in Bad Weather?

Miami weather is part of living here. GreenDrop has built a delivery operation that treats afternoon thunderstorms and tropical humidity as facts of the environment, not reasons to suspend service.

Rain and Afternoon Storms

Our couriers operate through standard Miami rain, including the dramatic afternoon downpours that define the summer months. Delivery times may extend by a few minutes as routes are navigated safely, but operations continue. Our packaging handles the elements — your order arrives dry and intact.

Extreme Heat

Florida summers test everything. Temperature-sensitive products — edibles, certain concentrates — are packed with thermal insulation that maintains quality through the warmest delivery runs. What you ordered is what arrives, regardless of what the thermometer reads outside.

Tropical Weather

As tropical systems develop, we monitor conditions and communicate proactively with clients who have pending orders. During tropical storm warnings or conditions that pose genuine risk to our couriers, we may pause delivery and hold orders safely at our facility. Resumption follows as soon as conditions permit, typically within hours of the weather clearing.

Hurricane Protocol

In advance of a confirmed hurricane, GreenDrop suspends delivery and holds all pending orders for rescheduling. We notify clients through text and our social channels. Post-storm resumption happens as early as road and safety conditions allow — often ahead of many other services in the area.

A Considerate Note

If heavy weather makes a doorstep handoff less than comfortable, our contactless delivery option allows you to specify a sheltered drop-off point, keeping the experience pleasant for both sides of the transaction.
